Over the years of sharing techniques of natural eye correction, I have had quite a few common questions that arise. So as to save both my time and yours, I thought I would address them in a series of blog posts. Ready?

Today’s question is perhaps THE most common one: What should I do first? It’s the same question any beginner would have in any field. They are simply overwhelmed with this information they learned – they simply don’t know what to apply. This is why most courses – on anything on you can think of – does nothing for you.

To prevent that from happening, I’ve decided to share with you an important concept all successful business owners know: the 80/20 rule. The 80/20 rules states that in most cases, 20% of the cause is responsible for 80% of the results.

Think about it: the top 20% of the richest people commands 80% of the wealth. 20% of a business’s customers is responsible for 80% of their sales. 20% of a student’s studies are responsible for 80% of his knowledge. And so on and so forth.

The same is true for eye correction. 20% of all the techniques that you apply with be responsible for 80% of the results. This knowledge is great – it allows you to focus on that 20% to yield the most results, and thus making the best use of you time.

The question, of course, which eye exercises are in that 20% and which are not?

Here’s a short list that, in my opinion, you should focus on. Remember, this list is my experience only, they are certainly NOT conclusive. Do try them out.

Always follow that 10/1 rule. That is, rest your eyes for 1 minutes every 10 minutes of intense use. “Intense use” includes staring at the monitor/TV. This can be difficult to implement but once you establish it as a habit, it will get easy. Click here to read more about how improve your vision by resting your eyes.

Cut down the amount of time you wear your glasses. If at all possible, don’t use them. Of course, if you’re doing something dangerous, such as driving, please do wear them. Click here to find out more about how glasses prevents you from rebuilding your vision.

Do the eye exercises. They take only 30 minutes a day and are extremely powerful in helping your correct your eyesight.

Meditate daily. 10 minutes a day could do wonders both for your eyes and your life. Because the truth is, meditation relaxes you (including your eyes) and help you focus on what you really want. Click here to read more about the connection between your mind and your eyes.

That’s all! Isn’t that easy? Notice there’s no mention of vitamins and the like? Other than the program, there’s literally no cost for natural eye correction! And the best part, my recommended program comes with a 365-day guarantee.

Let me start with a little story. Stick with me and you’ll see how profoundly important this is to eye exercises.

Do you know of a man known by the name of Galileo Gelilei? Yes, the man who discovered that earth circled the sun and not the other way around. Did you know that even before him, people have always known that something was wrong with the calendar of that time? Every June or so it would start to snow and people in Europe, knowing that it’s not supposed to snow at that time of the year would roll back their calendar to the “correct date”.

Even the Pope did that.

If you were an astronomer at that time, the belief of that day would have prevented you from discovering the truth… even though you intuitively know there’s a problem there. Why? Because the very definition of astronomy is the study of how the sun circled earth. That’s a fundamental assumption that everyone accepts.

And that assumption was made way back in ancient by Aristotle, the man who invented the calendar. For thousands of years, even as man progressed in the field of science, no one ever questioned it. Until, of course, a man by the name of Nicolas Copernicus came along and theorized otherwise.

Galileo merely used his invention, the terrestrial telescope to prove it; he did not discovered it. Having the proof he needed, he publicized his finding.

But guess what the Pope did? He threathened Galielo of imprisonment because his findings is “inconsistent with the bible’s teachings (which is entirely untrue). Dismayed and afraid, Galileo kept quiet… until, of course, the Pope died and was replaced with the next Pope.

And by a stroke of luck (or so he thought), the guy who next became Pope was his college room mate. So guess what? Thinking he’s now safe, he released his findings once more. Because, hey, he’s my friend. He won’t persecute me right?

Boy, was he wrong. This time, Galileo wasn’t just asked to keep quiet. He was placed under house arrest and tried for heresy… until the day of his death.

So what has this got to do with eye exercises?

Do you see the many similarities of that story with the optometry industry today?

There’s a belief that the only way to improve your eyesight is through laser eye surgery or you have to wear glasses your whole life. If you go to a conventional optometrists, you’ll never learn the truth either. If you felt that there’s something wrong with the norms of today, do something about it! Try the alternative. Try eye exercises.

If it doesn’t work, at least you can say that you’ve given it your all. At least you’re not just a sheep following a blind shepherd!

And if you think the people in power today wouldn’t allow that to happen to you… read that story again! The people in power always try to stay in power by denouncing a revolutionary breakthrough. That’s just the way it always has been. Why? Because revolutions affect the people in power the most.

Imagine the change eye exercises would bring to the optometry industry if it was made mainstream… I don’t know about you, but I’d say the government, optometry associations and even rich people with businesses in the optometry industry would hate it!

If you still don’t believe that eye exercises, click here for the numerous verifiable testimonials. Don’t be just another astronomer. Be the Galileo of your time.

There are 3 principles to natural vision improvement that Dr Bates discovered decades ago. If you want to naturally improve your vision, I think it’s crucial that you understand them. There are numerous eye exercises that you can do but it’s inevitable that sometimes you might interpret them wrongly. Understanding the principles behind them, I believe, would prevent this and hopefully, propel you forward instead of holding you back in your efforts to improve your vision.

The three principles are:

1. Movement. Here’s a little experiment that you can do. Look for people you know who have perfect vision. Would you say they are “active”, “squirmy” or “just couldn’t stay still”? They most probably are. Perfect vision requires movement because rigidity causes fatigue while movement promotes circulation!

2. Centralization. Have you ever tried to see everything at once? Back when I was in high school, I used to force myself to see everything in my surrounding since I thought that would give me an advantage in noticing someone is coming for the ball. My eyesight quickly deteriorated because diffusion causes strain and is unnatural. Our eyes are built for centralization, meaning we see only one small space at a time. Bates once said if you look at a chair, you should be seeing its back-rest, its legs and every other parts separately.

3. Relaxation. We have been educated to think that effort is always a good thing. So in out quest for perfect vision, we often place lots of effort into seeing something we cannot see – and therefore causing us to squint. Sight should be just like any other senses, they do not need effort on our part. If we tried to intervene, it will deteriorate rapidly. So try to relax and let your natural vision system to work. That’s what eye exercises allows you to do – take on a new habit to relax your eyes – and thus rebuild your vision.
